LEHIGH COUNTY PRISON
Since March 1997 the Choices Program has been going into the Lehigh County Prison on the third Friday, Saturday and Sunday of every month. There have been 950 participants through the program, many of those have gone through all 3 levels. There are over 150 of that number who have trained as facilitators. Some assist in facilitating at the Keenan House and others with the juvenile program. Participants who become facilitators have shown a higher rate of recovery then those who do not go that far. About 70% of those facilitators who continue to help after discharge, don't go back into the system at all. They have managed to become successful in recovery and life in general.

We will not be holding a December program to give our facilitators a chance to get ready for the Christmas Holiday and spend time with their families. We will begin level 1 in January.
